well obviously I hope I never see it....but a Sharks/Wings Western final would be a heck of a battle...guess time will tell! Wings have owned the Stars this year. Playoff are all about health and goaltending. We will see which team can keep both going at the same time. That and a few lucky bounces here and there.

In 43 games. Thats barely half a season. Not to mention they play in the 2nd weakest division in hockey.

you guys will take ONE...mark MY word...but I can appreciate your optimism. Being a looooong time Stars fan (back to the Minnesota days)....I can say I haven't seen them with this kinda focus since prob the Cup/final years. You better hope that the Sharks can get a multi goal lead in a game, because Dallas has shown to be able to take a punch and hang in......

p.s. Nabby is gonna hafta "steal" a game for you guys pretty soon (just like Turco did IMO in Game 1)....someone should probably tell him!

I'd be a little more worried about what Nabokov is doing. You know with the harder schedule and those 23 more games he played than Ozzy I am beginning to understand his 3 period meltdowns. You might want to give Ron Wilson a call as let him know not to worry cause Detroit sucks, but....he might want to figure out how to score 6 a game and only play the 1st two periods.

You know your giving very little credit to Detroit and it's pretty funny.

btw... Ozzy's played only played 5 games in the playoffs. He would be playing more, but Detroit seems to be winning with him and that keeps his schedule "light". He also has a 1.09 gaa which leads the league in the playoff for starting goalies. Damn weak playoff schedule.

Sharks have lost the "mo" and 1-2 goals a game will not get it back.

They don't seem to be able to finish a team off. Must be that tough schedule that they had this year.....:wink:

lol...yeah might be haha. I DO expect them to come out pretty fast in Game 3...much like the Ducks did. Personally I don't see a sweep here (as much as I'd LOVE one!).....but I'm smilin' today! :thumbup:

Detroit is a great team, but their goaltending is mediocre at best. You can't blame that 3rd period on Nabby, if he doesnt get any defensive support in front of him, and has pucks turned over in our zone, there isnt much he can do.

Its not how fast we come out, we have started well in the last 2 games, its all in how we finish.

yeah I would agree with that...but look what the Ducks did in Game 3 in Dallas...3 goals in the first. I'm not talking about just playing hard...they would have to finish and put the puck in the net. Oh...and that whole "we will own you in your building" thing...we will SEE! :reposthorse:
