Just had mine done, £255 walnut blasted at bmw for all 6 valves. Makes a massive difference

I think you mean 12 valves...or 6 cylinders.

Questionable. Some have gotten it done under warranty to fix rough idle and intermittent misfires, but generally speaking they’re not going to do that under warranty since nothing has “broken” or “failed” per se.

thanks... in want to do mine soon since im almost 60k it would be nice if they cover that...

No pics from mine sorry! But got it done just this week been for $600NZD at my BMW garage (indy / only bmw repairers) .. Car goes far better, very smooth power delivery and really does tug a bit more in the low RPM's. Nothing astonishing but very noticeable.

I used to have the car shudder and hesitate when pulling through 2-3k RPM under WOT and now thats gone! It's smooth sailing the whole way.

Hey guys, check this out! I am currently at my dealership getting the valves cleaned with the walnut shell blaster and this is how the valves currently look like. My car is a 2007 E92 with 99,600 miles and NEVER had the valves cleaned!
