I've seen plenty of bent wheels before, but this may take the cake.

Dear lord man that must suck. I'd take the wheel down to the county office tomorrow and be like "glad to see my tax dollars go into public road maintenance" Then demand a new wheel

NOT what I wanted to see. I currently don't have the rim and tire warranty and I've been debating the merits. While the BMW one isn't available dealer told me about a third party offered that's 1,200-1,300 and covers the same size rim and tire that comes with the car stock (vs bmw that will only cover the original rims and tire, run flats) the catch is third party only covers up to 5k damage. Decisions decisions. OP you got a warranty?

Get the all state tire & rim warranty, i paid 600 when i bought the vehicle (8 months ago) and its a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty, also it will cover any rim or tire on the vehicle even if it did not come like that from the dealer, they will cover either dealer approved parts or even aftermarket rims / different brand tires i think it was an awesome choice because ive used it multiple times especially for my bridgestone potenza RFT's....BTW i have commerce insurance for my vehicle, then the allstate tire & rim protection so you do not need to switch anything with your insurance

sweet baby Jesus it's a Festivus miracle. JM&A (the co my dealer recommended) is backed by fidelity but you can't beet $600 unlimited mileage covering any rim or tire on the vehicle. And you said you have made claims with them before- no funny stuff?

Made about 2-3 claims regarding my bridgestone potenzas because of bubbles forming on the sidewall, everything was taken care of within 1 business day unless an adjustor is sent out to inspect the damages, im guessing they'll send an adjustor out to inspect the damages on mine because it was both rim & tire that need replacing...hope this helps

Wow! That is some serious damage! I would notify the city about something like that. Even if they aren't willing to compensate you for the time or effort you have to spend replacing the wheel and tire, they should at least fix the portion of the road that is destroying people's wheels and tires.

Damn! I have bent one 193 and bent and cracked a second one. Are they a weak wheel, or we are just unlucky?
