so my car is quiet as shit..i want a muffler delete. But I dont want to weld anything. Preferably bolts or clamps to interchange. Dont want it damn loud or drone....just a nice bit louder deep rumble. My choices?

But from a cheaper point, maybe if the shop can do a custom pipe from the bolting point? Then either clamp or have them make another section that can bolt onto stock pipe

got my appointment for friday, but weird thing is they asked me if i was 25 and have a credit card. The age i can understand but the credit card thing leads me to think a enterprise rental. Which I don't mind paying for, if they change the lifters or do something. Don't wanna pay for something and have them just look at it.

i'd call local muffler shops for pipe bending and custom stuff w/o weld. I know a great shop in CA but none here.

Vu I know you're on a budget and shit, but what EXACTLY are you trying to spend? There's a bastuck dual (so you dont have to get a diffusor) fs for 650 obo.

I know you say shit is expensive for the car...but come on, its a German car. I know it's your first so it's all fucked up but believe me, my Audi was way worse! It's a BIG shock coming from Japanese cars. It's ok, you get used to it. Some of the parts for my e92 have been cheaper than the Audi. lol

Im just thinking about spending $ on other things that would give me more in return..ie 650 for catback I can get a new jb3 gen3 2.0 and dci. Thats what im thinking..i know shit for these cars are expensive. I was prepared. Id rather spend $ on something that gives me power than a pipe with just sound and no power.

Back to the drawing boards...prolly doing a jb3 again and ic. Unless giac comes out with a flashloader.

1. $650 or so is well worth a good catback system that growls like the borla.
2. DIC is fucking waste of money on your car, just get a K&N drop in filter cuz you won't end up losing the low end with all that hot air coming in.

dci will benefit him if he does an upgraded fmic because you wont have to worry about heat soak as much or raised AIT's with the front mount....or meth! lol

no i have a bms drop in...and i just threw dci in cause thats what i could basically get with 650. Not that im getting a dci ever. Unless its the last possible mod just to get.
