Need my LCI rear lights coding on my pre-LCI E91. I understand BMW can do this but they are likely to want a lot of money for what is a simple job.

Any other suggestions for getting this done in the area?

Ring round and find out who's got Autologic, tell them you want 'bulb check' disabled and your good to go.
Your cars throwing errors as it won't recognise the LEDS.
They can also enable folding mirrors from the fob if you've got electic folding mirrors, along with a host of other stuff

BMW won't have a clue what you're on about, and even if they did I doubt they would do it for you.

Unfortunately mine is a base model M Sport, so no folding mirrors I wish it did.

I've just been quote £80+vat for an LED rear light recode... does that sound like the right sort of price?

I paid £72.00 inc vat, but that included mirror folding from the fob.

It seems expensive,you could say your VAT exempt, so would they take cash

Another place want £68 in vat worse case. Otherwise it's £41

Yeah, that's more like I expected. Just going to get these rear lights coded for now and then get it redone once I have the tailgate and inner lights.
