If you have a pre-lci e90 and want lci powered seats, you may find this guide helpful.--If you've swapped your pre-lci powered seats with lci powered seats, you may notice that it was not just a simple swap/plug-n-play: your driver's side seat will likely have functionality yet the passenger side will be completely powerless. This guide will resolve that issue.

After I swapped my 2007 base powered seats with 2009 sport seats, my driver's side has basic functionality, but my passenger side was powerless.

In the end, it came down to moving one goddang wire.



PICTORIAL STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO COME

.::Guide::.

1. Obtain a set of LCI seats.
2. Unplug battery in trunk of your car. Keep your trunk open and all doors unlocked prior to unplugging battery.

   Needed: 10mm.

3. Disconnect yellow command module from under seat. If you've installed a PROcede this will be familiar.

   Needed: Flathead

4. Unhinge seatbelt. Stick flathead in...wiggle around side piece and it will come out. Use T-50 to unscrew.

   Needed: Small Flathead

   Needed: T-50

5. Take out seats. 4 Bolts.

   Needed: T-50

6. Replace seats.

   Needed: One very strong person. Best if you have a friend or you will have trouble placing seat in car without scratching door.

7. Take a look at yellow harness. Take out harness. If you've installed PROcede this will be easy.

   Needed: Small Flathead

8. Use small flathead to remove pin and place in spot as show in picture below. (click for supersize)

9. Put yellow harness back together.
10. Plug harness in.
11. Ignore white plug if you don't have a slot.
12. Bolt those 4 T-50s back in securely.
13. Reconnect battery.
14. Test seats.
15. Securely Fasten 10mm on battery.
16. ???
17. Powered Seats!
