Best way to add USB with Logic7?

Hi all, I am sure this is more than a fair share of so I will apologize in advance, but it seems that options for doing things on our platform change almost every year. I have Logic7, bluetooth and only auxiliary in the center console. I am trying to figure out the best, easiest, and cheapest(?) way of adding usb in the center console. The auxiliary port sounds like ass IMO, plus I will be trying to add the JB4 interface sometime soon.

What options do I have?

Depends on if you have idrive or pro radio.

Depends on if you have idrive or pro radio.

A dension gateway 500s bt will work with idrive or pro radio.
An OEM factory upgrade with idrive may be possible depending
on the level of your idrive. (combox retrofit)
See Bimmertech.
The newer Pro Radio's have USB built in but you have to do some fancy programming to install them in an older car.
but they have no bluetooth music option.

There are a ton of cheap a2dp adapters but they us AUX for sound.

Aftermarket Head Unit if you have Pro Radio might be another thing to consider.

The level of system you start out with effects the aux sound.
When I upgraded my Hi Fi the aux sounded better but still not as
good as the CD or Radio . I assume you are using Hi Bit Rate Mp3
or Wav files.

I would go with the Dension Gateway 500s bt

I would go with the Dension Gateway 500s bt
if you don't want to change your radio or spend
a lot of time on a OEM upgrade.

I will look into that! Thanks for the referral. Maybe I will just trade mine in for a 135 or another 335i that has it already, along with a 3rd pedal.
