Quick qestion for the M-Package

I will be ordering the 2011 e92 XI with M-Package.

Since they do include the "sport" suspension for the "xi" do they add only for the "i"?

My 2010 e92 xdrive with M-Package did not come with "sport" suspension.

The xi has an entirely different suspension (steel vs alloy), so no sport suspension for you there. Sorry.

I can live with this, since the car should be arriving here around September. By 2011 summer hopefully I should have a "better" suspension...

Oh and also I was at the dealer signing some papers and I really want the 225M rims but its not an option for the xi but it comes standard for the is. Could there be a difference? The dealer is still trying to ask if it is possible.

So I was informed by the dealer that the 225M is not an option for the 335xi

Is there a reason why a 19" is not recommended by BMW?

BMW doesn't recommend 19's for xi models because the majority of people that have xi drive in bad climates..

I believe the 225M was discontinued, other 19" styles such as the 313 are available for xi models

^nope

They don't recommend 19" wheels for the xi cars because the staggered tires offered by BMW (225/255) on the 19" wheels are too great of a diameter difference, and would thus grenade your transfer case. Trust me, if they could include xi cars in their accessory brochures for 4000 dollar rims and tires, they would. If you really want 19" OEM wheels on your xi buy the rims and slap on some 235/275's and have not only more grip, but also more sidewall to protect your new rims.

That sucks...

They do have the 225M for the "IS" though

Thanks for the info guys. Now I just need to find someone selling the 225M, I really like those rims. Unless I find something better.

Makes sense, I was assuming that non-oem tires were being used. Sorry for the confusion.
