I can't get rid of this thing. Running Symantec AV, Search and destroy, malware remover....

Using Vista 32.

Anyone??

if u r a registered symantec user...they should help u out...otherwise...use AVG...symantec imho sux

Thanks but these things didn't help.... I agree about Symantec but it is an IT policy.

I think I finally got rid of it by:
  • Logging in as another administrator
  • Deleting all files in the "Quarantine" directory
  • Deleting all files in the \user\<other username>\AppData\Local\Temp
I really hope this does it. I couldn't wipe out the temp directory logged in as my regular self but logged in as an administrator with a different user name, I could wipe out the directory.

I hope this solution gets googled....
