I realize this exhaust is tuned differently than the stock 335 e92...more aggressive. But, this is not the performance exhaust, right? Anyone?

It is still missing the suspension changes. I don't drive down the drag strip everyday. In fact I won't. I prefer better suspension which makes autocross and track days feel better.

Top Gear won't get the iS unless they come to North America again. Last time they ended up with a cow on the roof and a whole lot of trouble after that.

And Schumacher is right, that looks to be a F10. Slower still. Bit disturbing how similar they are.

Hammond tested the E90 when it first came out (I think it was a 320d, doesn't get much more dull than that) and I disagree with the comment about it not being cool to push a demo car like this one...I'm pretty sure they gave these to journalists on a race track for a reason.

Also, in the video you can clearly see that the track was completely empty in front of him so he wasn't being held up by anyone.

I doubt they will test the IS on Top Gear as it is a US only model.

I took turns faster in my dad's 1964 Valiant driving the streets of San Francisco a long time ago.

I'd love to see the Stig drive this car. As another poster said, Hammond drove the E90 320d and James, Richard and Jeremy drove the E92 M3, but I've never seen the Stig drive an E9x.

Nice car, but holy crap...there were like two times that the driver was ever on the line...yikes! He just convinced me to buy a 323i auto...WTF?

For the record, I jumped in the car really quick with Chris Paukert from Autoblog. That's him driving; he's probably doing 8/10 to 9/10 for most of the shot. I didn't have a chance to set up the camera rig for a more steady shoot, unfortunately. I just used the video mode in my Nikon D5000, which isn't exactly a hi-def setup. Sorry the video quality wasn't higher.

As for the 0-60 times, the track was damp (as you can see in the video) and temps were around 50-55 degrees, so getting a good hookup was a challenge. I have no doubt a 4.7 is possible under the right conditions.

The photos in the article have been edited, but mostly the backgrounds. The angel eyes are accurately depicted in that picture.

We don't mind 0-60 times +/-, because most of us feel that's not the most representative measurement of a sport car, but what we'd really love to see is the driver putting some compression onto the 335is' suspension between apexes! New video!!!

You must not have watched Top Gear at all. They've tested many 3 series, the latest E9x as well as E46 328i and they tested a E36 318i which is a 4-cyl engine. So saying they won't test a 3 series, especially a 335is, cause it's "too dull" is just ignorance.
