Nothing special just MonacoblueE90

Here is my Bmw 320d. Year2007 ,but first registration year wasnīt until 2009.The previous owner brought the car to Finland from Latvia. Where it was never used for 2 years.
Somebody in Latvia ordered the car ,but never bought it. I think it never left from the German factory. Now it has 46000km (28K miles) on odometer.

Im not going list all the things it got, but here is some of the equipment

ALARM SYSTEM
THROUGH-LOAD SYSTEM
SEAT HEATING F DRIVER/FRONT PASSENGER
PARK DISTANCE CONTROL (PDC) Rear only
RADIO BMW PROFESSIONAL
HIFI LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM
INDIVIDUAL SUN PROTECTION GLAZING
INDIVIDUAL ROOF-LINING ANTHRACITE
ADVANTAGE PACKAGE
COMFORT PACKAGE
COLD CLIMATE VERSION

Engine 2.0L diesel with 120kw (163hp)
Colour MONACOBLAU METALLIC
Upholstery STOFF/LEDER CITRUS/ANTHRAZIT
MANUAL Gearbox

Here is the car when i bought it about year ago.

It already had HR lowering springs 35mm front and 20mm rear. I think its the same as HR Sport.

What i changed

Took away 320d logo.
Tinted/smoked reverse lights, side markers and foglights.
10w led angel eyes
Painted exhaust tip to black
Hamann-style replica front lip.
Performance kidneys.

Wheels for summer Apex arc-8
Front 18x9.5 et35 with 235/40/18 Hankook ventus v12
Rear 18x9.5 et22 with 235/40/18 Hankook ventus v12

For winter i have
17x8 et20 style 122 allround with Nokia Hakkapeliitta 4 225/45/17.

Here is the pictures how it looks now. For now its ready.I coulnīt deside what pictures to load so i put all that i liked. I have some close up pictures about mods i did, if someone wants to see.I will upload.

Thank you. It took whole last winter to deside what wheels i want. Then i waited for 3.5 months to get them.I didn't got them until as the beginning of June. First those where out of stock and then the trip to here took a long time.It was awful because i had to drive with my winter tyres so long

I believe the background. My car was a dealership demo, which was basically never used in 2009-2010 (it had 10000km when it was sold in 2010 March!) due to much same reasons: massive recession in Baltics. Currently I have 40000km. On a 2007.

In Latvia they had the mother of recessions, with GDP down 30% or so (peak to trough). So most likely someone bought and said no thanks, my construction business went belly up and you can keep the car. Lot of finns swooped in and bought these at bargain prices (say 12000 EUR for 18000 EUR)

I'm sure it didn't cost you much, so you got very good base to mod it. Looks like you had a good start already.

PS: a while back I asked on this forum if the 122s would fit on E90 without causing issues, and you actually have them on. Do you have few pics in winter mode? Very curious to see how it came out, as I never got them myself.

I know it was never driven between 2007-2009.Donīt know where it was stored that time. Then 2009 some finish company imported it to finland.
Someone bought it and drove like 2 years and 32000km with it.Previous owner changed it to Volvo.
I bought it from Volvo-dealership at 2011 and even they thought it was 2009,because documents say that it is.
It causes sometimes problems if ordering parts with licence plate number, because it gives wrong part numbers.

Well it wasnīt really that cheap for me, but 2007 with 32000km when other 2007 models where driven like 60000km. It was very good shape and had xenons etc.
Also real facelift 2009 where like 10 000€ more to price tag.

No i donīt have pictures yet, because last winter i drove with different setup.
Maybe i should test fit those to otherside, before winter really comes and take a picture. I might just do that soon. Im on vacation right now so i have time.

There shouldnīt be any problems with 17x8 et20 with 225/45/17.
Only thing i needed was 74.1->72.6 hubcentric rings.

Thank you. I really like Apex wheels. I wanted 9.5 allround because of the concave. I was suprised that et22 was more concave than et35.

Your car looks fantastic, nice work with the subtle mods - that's all it really needs, honestly.

Heh - every time I see a European BMW, I notice the split armrest in front. I had to mod that into my car. Great upgrade. Why it's not standard on U.S. cars is beyond me.

I have done a few mods since that pic.
Grills have been wrapped in Gloss Black to go with the roof. Smoked Blacklines installed, indicators (turn signals) have been wrapped with LaminX and fog lights have also been wrapped in LaminX.

Will try and post updated pics this weekend after a good wash

As i promised. I did the test fitting to other side. Here is couple pictures. I took these with cellphone. 17x8 et20 fits just fine and i donīt think it needs spacers to rear. There is room, but for winter setup its alright and its hundred times better than my previous winter setup 17x7.5 et38 with ugly wheels. Those where so deep in the wheel housing.

When winter really comes. I will take the front lip off.
