The convertible hard-top doesn't last too long before you have to start doing adjustments to it to rectify water leaks/excessive creaking/alignment issues/popping noises/and miscellaneous other issues the higher mileage e93s all inherit..I'd go w/ a regular coupe and save yourself the headache later down the line. Unless you decide just to lease a brand new one. Then GO for it.

E93s are great if you live somewhere where there is warm weather at least 5 months out of the year. I love my vert, screw you haters lol..
What are you gonna do with a vert in Norway? Get a coupe. |

Coupe Looks better
Convertible still looks better and you have option to close the roof or put the top down and enjoy the cold weather atleast a month of summer? but if you have cold weather all around the year then i wouldnt get convertible but yes i do love convertibles |

thank you for the quick opinions.
my first choice was the coupe with sunroof, than I've seen some cabrios looking really cool but if problems with roof alignment will appear and leakages then i don't wanna go on that road. |

335i is my favorite one, it is a fantastic car from my point of view but i will continue dreaming about it for now. The taxes are to high for this 3 liter 306HP, so am am looking at 320D and will be remapped to approx 210HP. I will still be fun. i am looking to keep the car for 5-6 years at least.

There is an excellent thread for this by a Nordic Kat (I think). Regular lubrication etc. Sure there are lemons and issues, just like any other E90/ E92- but by and large don't let the hardtop scare you off- it is a marvel of sorts, and can provide years of trouble free open air enjoyment |

Very few people have every had an issue with the hardtop - mine is 6 years old and still works like a top.
Once the top is down, the E93 is just plain better in every way, park it beside a coupe and no one will even notice the coupe!. It is a heavier car, but much hotter lighter women will ride with you so it really evens out the weight compared to all the coupe dudes driving around with the fat dude passenger friends. Seriously though, once I had a convertible, could never go back to a coupe - the hardtop makes all the typically soft top issue go away, it works great in poor weather, is quiet when up and so much fun when down. With the cold weather package the windscreen I will drive with the top down as low as 40 degrees around town and down to 45-50 on the highway with no issues getting cold!

The roof shape of the E92 is much better than E93. But, If you like to drive topless most of the time...then go for the cabrios.
