We had it on top of a parking garage in a mall in Bee Caves (just SW of Austin). It was sizzling out there since the time was noon and we had ~30-40 cars there!!

Someone needs to ask if the Domain (outdoor type shopping mall ~3 miles west of I-35 in N Austin) would accomodate something like this since they have a parking garage as well. I'm not volunteering but just my suggestion.

I may be way off on this but, the only problem I would see with the Domain is the fact that Saturdays are packed and mgt. may not want to give up so much parking in lieu of people who are spending money in the area. ......... then again, The Domain gets plenty of money and will continue to do so.

Hill Country Galleria (Bees Cave) is like another Domain ..... might be another choice. Maybe we can roll some ideas around, Andy.

I'm out of the country that week so I won't be able to come. I doubt the Domain security will let us using the parking garage without authorized permission. Last time Eric worked out a deal with the management company to let us use the top level of the Hill Country Galleria parking garage. But even so, the security guys still showed up

Of course someone will need to speak with the management at the Domain and convince them that it will be great exposure for out of town guests

We really need to gauge the "committed" interest with this meet so all who attend can be accommodated with their cars. Saturday is going to be tough just because this town has alot goin' on any given weekend.

Andy makes a good point with convincing property management of there being a "generated revenue" flow of spending ..... especially around the HCG or Domain.

Now my mind has got all types of ideas flowing ...... dedicated photographers? BBQ maybe?

Not wanting to take the lead here ... just throwing out some ideas as this meet sounds like it's going to be a pretty good size.

Rolling shots would be GREAT and of course, pics of the cars, members etc would be excellent.

Permissions HAVE to be on paper just to CYA for this very reason.
