BMW owners like to go fast on the water too! Potomac Bass fishing content

Just went out on Adam's (Clem) Ranger bass boat out on the Potomac down by DC today. Had a great time even w/ some cold water temps...39-43 degrees in most spots.

A few pics

Adam (Clem) gettin on his V6 225 driven Ranger on the way to the first spot....coooooold. Thank god he really didnt open this beast up.

Me on the way out...my face was numb

Adam fishing

My 1st fish of the day, a very solid 5ish lb largemouth on a green tube

Adam with a nice bass

Adam with a chunky 5lber

A little rooster tail action while running

This guy was buzzin the river......love the sound

Another fisherman...Georgetown in the background

Bald Eagle checking us out

Sunset over the Woodrow Wilson

another shot

A fun day out and you cant beat catching a few very nice bass in February

oh yeah they are! had great luck on them in the Monocacy too. Adam and I had a very productive day on this canoe last year there.

how many fish did we boat that day Adam??

Also caught this beast of a Tiger Muskie on that tube last year in the Monocacy. It will be on my wall in a few months ....died from exhaustion, otherwise it would have been released. I called in the tag on the fish and it was the largest and oldest male they had on record in the Potomac system.....pretty cool.

the tube! It was a light bass rod w/ light test...i got lucky, no leader.
