I caution you against installing lowering springs without shocks to match.

I know this already, any recommendations on a setup? From what i hear the H&R sport springs paired with Bilstein Sport Shocks.

Koni shocks + H&R sport is popular around here. Koni Whites are the newest .... try looking at those.

Yea I have no doubts about that, some of the build and repair stuff I have seen them do I can't even wrap my mind around.

Speaking of them went in to inspect a Continental GT Speed for a customer of theirs and found many areas of this atrocious hackery:

After approximately 126 minutes of crying over the Bentley I looked out the front office and saw this gorgeous piece of engineering. But fortunately I had a camera and got a halfway decent rolling shot - face blurred for obvious reasons .

Hey guys I grew up in Pittsford, but have since moved to CT. I come home pretty often and have a bunch of buddies in the area who are also car crazies. Anyways I was back home this weekend and learned that a kid I went to high school with was doing some pretty extensive work on a large variety of cars out of his garage. He charges a VERY reasonable amount for labor and can do pretty much anything you need him to. He's a great guy trying to get his name out there before he opens up a shop of his own. Had him do a few things for me this weekend and was very impressed. If you are around the Rochester area and are looking for quality labor on the cheap let me know!

Shoot me this kid's info when you get a chance. I plan on getting an H&R cup kit soon and curious if he'd be willing to do it, and what he'd charge.

By the way, where in CT are you? I made the opposite move - grew up in CT but moved to Upstate NY about 7 yrs. ago (lived in Rochester for a few years, but now in Syracuse).

That is the same car... and my car is the same still. That Alpina is gorgeous in person.

That account was banned because I was talking about a product that we don't sell any longer because it didn't do a good enough job for the cost. It was the same post where I educated a lot of folks on the different types of contamination and why this product was effective on 1 type of contamination but completely useless on others - which cleared the air because apparently everyone thought it worked on nearly everything. To be brutally honest I'm floored it was banned because of that.

I'm interested to hear what kind of performance you get out of that.

As for gas... Just gotta bite the bullet. Like you said, enjoy the ride!
