What is the most possible cause of rear suspension creaking?

E90 85K miles, lowered.

Tomorrow I will remove the wheels and have a look... what I should be most looking for? No other symptom but the noise.

1+ Lithium Grease.
Also, don't expect the creaking to go away over night.
It has to work in there all the way....and it moves very slowly....
it took mine like 4.5 months. (That is just spraying it as I see it....as best as I could get at it, without opening it.)

I finally figured out the creaking on my car comes from when the hand brake is set. Goes away if I don't set it.

Just haven't felt like tearing the rotors off to get into it to figure out what has rusted from driving around during the winter in the salt wasteland called Maryland....

I still say its your swaybar bushings not brakes.
If it is brakes, then it can only be your hand brake as t is the only thing that is adjustable.
