Hi everyone, I have been at my wits end trying to figure out what is going on with my suspension. As the Title states, There is a slight "Click" whenever i drive at low speeds and turning, especially in and out of driveways. I've been through many previous threads on this and have yet to find anything that really could be a fix. I can feel the click through the steering wheel, and it sounds like it comes from under the car, and not from a specific side. It almost feels and sounds like something is slipping past one another under tension.

To start, in the last 6 months I have had the following installed (+/- some small bits).
- H & R Lowering springs on new-ish shocks and struts
- New top hats, shorter bump stops, front shock mounts
- M3 Control arms
- Whiteline adjustable sway bar end links

I first thought that the end links have gotten loose, or somehow had preload on them so I checked those and everything seemed good, not loose or broken. Next, I checked the torque on the steering rack, and checked the rest of the installed components and didnt notice anything loose/broken. I also had the car recently taken in for an alignment at a local BMW specialty shop and asked them to check out my front suspension to make sure it all looked good and was installed properly and they said yes (Prior to the clicking noise). While the car is on jack stands and there is no load on the front suspension, The noise doesnt happen. This doesnt effect my day-to-day driving, as it only happens at low speeds (in my neighborhood or parking lots), its really just bothersome and worried about a possible bigger issue i may be overlooking. try driving without swaybar connected, check inner tie rods and steering coupler, gl

Okay thank you ill try taking the swaybar off to see if if the noise persists.

This happened to me when I got stiffer coilovers too, put rubber washers under the strut bar (under the bonnet) on all ends of the bar. So put a rubber washer at the strut towers and at the connection near the windshield. That made my noise go away

With the noise transfer into the steering wheel you may want to inspect the intermediate shaft that connects the base of the steering column to the steering gear.
