car tax hikes

taxed three cars this year the z4 cost an extra £5 the 335 an extra £20 more than the renewal and an e36 320 cost £20 more than the renewal stated, whats going on brown kept that one quiet. this is obviously how hes proposing to get us out of this mess make the motorist pay. i wonder how much car tax will be nexy year. anyway the z has to go im afraid.

Yup, just more Brown stealth tax rises I am afraid

Did'nt Cameron say there have been about 750 tax rises under labour? But whoever gets in, motoriist will still be the easier target.....

He didn't keep it quiet. The information on 2010 car tax was in the 2008 budget and has been available on the net ever since:

i think a lot of them have gone up a fiver...

mine has, but i don't need to tax it until dec so will have forgotten by then

£5 i dont mind but £20 on the diesel is taking the piss especialy when its 10mpg better. its not just that £5 its everything else thats costing so much more a bit here a bit there the mot has gone up £5 as well fuel nearly £6 a gallon where they get 2.5% inflation from i dont know, yes i do they are fixing the figures again!

i'll be moaning if i don't get a salary increase to compensate for this 'inflation'

It's not inflation. It's the exchange rate.
