My 2008 e92 new wheels:)
Hello.
This is my e92. It is just a 320i, but it works. The car is equipped with m-sport, full sports leather, black ceiling, start / stop function, rain sensor, BMW professional audio system. + + The plans for the car are: 20 "BBS LM wheels Bilstein B14 coilovers replace mufflers to 2pipes instead of the oval. 20" for a 20i?
If you are concerned about aesthetics only (actually, I did not even look nice as big wheels in our cars) Put as much of 19" and the lightest possible (BBS LM are not) if you do not want to end up with the force which might have the 20i (trust me, mine is also a 20i ) For the rest, beautiful car and amazing pics |

thanks for all comments.
about 20 `s I have not decided whether there will be 19` s or 20 `s. but now it's winter here, so I have plenty of time to decide. But I do not know if I want bbs lm's or some other wheels. I have been on the mind of beyern mesh will be fine on my car? what do you think? |

cool car.
my advice 1) drop it first. then think on wheels. because 18s already look good with a modest drop. 2) Get a performance or something similar for exhaust, and make that 4 pot sound good, like Si sounds. Worht it, plus you get some HP as a result. more drivable, sounds good. Can't lose much but money! 3) Rims - BBS are way better then bayern mesh (which are heavy as faaak). I would go for BBS LMR perhaps and in 18in. 19 if you must, but ride will suck too but in norway you got nice roads I think so may be 19 is ok after all. Just don't do 20 - heavy, too big to fit sensible tyre wall and it'll look silly on a 320i. E90 is too small car to take 20s in comfortable. Buddy of mine has A6 (latest) with 20s and they look almost OK but ride is fine because of electronic dampers/magnetic suspension or whatever it is. Otherwise it'd be horrible. Don't don't don't! Ask Remmib with 320d E90 LeMans on 20s, he's on this forum and norwegian, so could give you good avdvice. His car looks good but I preferred it on 19 DOTZ Mugellos (which seems like a nice wheel if you like the mesh look but don't want to spend a ton).

Welcome
Nice and great pics. Regarding 19" vs 20". I didn't feel that big of a difference, but of course dropped on 20" it won't be as comfy as on 17".

i agree... go for 20"... having a 20i you're obviously not going for speed... if you want so save weight but want bigger rims, get 8.5" width and put 20mm spacers on the rear... not much more material used in the height of the rim being narrow vs shorter rim being wide...
In addition to your mods already placed, maybe look at upgrading your angel eyes too. It's a cheap mod but very aesthetically rewarding. |
