I rarely hear any vibrations at all. None standing still. I think the only time I hear vibrations is when the car is cold and the pipes have not expanded yet.

Yes and No. The only time it really smells is when you stop and there is a slight breeze behind you, you get a little Wiff of the exhaust fumes for about 5 seconds. While driving none at all. My friends say they can smell me 4 car lengths back while driving.

Thanks because i have a stock gutted DP and it vibrates, i was told that its because its 5" and too much exhaust fumes get stuck and bounce around in there hence the vibration, not sure if its true or not im debating about getting an AR DP, but shit, now i gotta pay AGAIN for installation, plus the DP itself...

Lesson learned, dont go the cheaper route because in the end, you're going to pay double! LOL

AR Design 4" DP is my favorite, the sound of the turbo spooling is addicting. Drive through a covered parking garage. And I love the chug chug chug at idle it makes ... quite audible as well. I've had mine in 10 months and would buy the same one again.

Yes, I would have to agree AR makes great products! I never drive in D! How you do like the AR-PE combo? Was thinking of going that route, except I wanted Quads.

I had the PE for a few months and then added the AR DP.

Standing behind the car on a cold start is intolerable (can't even imagine it in a garage or covered parking of any kind). However once you're past that, driving around it's not obnoxiously loud like a Corvette w/ muffler delete. It sounds refined and aggressive (burbles/growling), I get lots of compliments. Overall an enjoyable setup.

Careful with your exhaust choice and drone ... the stock exhaust is best in this respect. PE is about the same as stock, the mufflers are the same shape and still have the connecting pipe between them.

I am installing my DP's tomorrow, I hope its not toooo loud lol.. I am really doing it for performance rather than sound, then again I am now hearing the gains on the xi with catless dp's are minimal due to the 2nd cat... We ll see I guess.

If you know a shop you will pass emissions easily.. They charge double and will pass u easily..warranty I wouldn't worry abt it.. You can leave it on if u go I for regular oil changes or maintenance service ...but remove its a major fix ad warranty related..

Ok, but my local Indy shop quoted $400 to install. Hefty price to remove/add for any issue.

Any ideas/experiences on a better install place? I assume a local mechanic isnt a great idea.......

Unless I do it on Rhino Ramps...but heard it is a bitch. I am a DIY'r (I do my own brakes and oil changes...) but ....

It should cost no more than 250.. Are you xi? It's a pain if u are but if you are I or is you won't need to drop the subframe..trust me it's worth it... The
