After 5 different E90's.....

I'm now in a Mercedes!!

Looked long and hard at all the options and ended up with a new C250Cdi Auto Estate in the new AMG Sport Plus trim. Picked it up on Friday and early impressions are very good. Hopefully that will last!!

I just sold mine , The engine was just to noisy for me ,I think the term Gruntter is what they call it . Lost half its money in 33 months , Possibly as bad depreciation wise as the BMWs.

Hi the wheels look awesome but give them a year and they will require a refurb ,found my set so fragile slightest chip and the white worm is in and the Laquer is falling off .

I can't believe how cheap mercs are going out on lease at the moment. I missed out on the C250CDI Coupe by a month - after I had bought mu GTi. Was something silly like £220 PCM with 10k a year.

Great looking car btw

Looks great Chris (did you get spanked trading in the Alpina or not too bad?). Hope you enjoy it more than Scoobs .

very nice its on my options list for next year as the new 2+2 family model means saloon is a bit small.

Only problem with all these lease deals they are 10k per year I do around 13k to 15k

You can have the mileage allowance extended. IIRC - it was an extra £20-30 a month for 5k more miles a year.

Thanks Rog! Feel the love eh?

Yep, not too bad on the Alpina - one reason for dealing with Merc Nottingham.

Re other queries, its on Merc finance deal - taking account of my trade-in works out to be very little different to the cost of a lease deal, especially as no VAT reclaim possible.

Concerning the wheels, since they are a new style we shall see.....the engine is a 4 cylinder diesel, so it makes the noises I would expect and for the record, my e90's certainly haven't been fault free...

F31 Touring not available yet, don't like A4 Avant, A6 and F11 too big, so the Merc suits me!

Will definelty need to look into mercs it seems a 15k allowance should do me fine having not even done 45k in 3 years. Might even try to move away from a diesel

Ask yourself the question why?

You never get anything for nothing so that cost has to have been saved somewhere

Having problems with the Merc, Mark? lol

I've driven 4-5 of the current Mercs and in terms of internal materials, I don't think they were any different to my then E90. But I think the F11 and Current Audi A4's have moved the game on from the C class. The E and S class are pretty sublime inside though.

And with a foot in both camps my merc has been ultra reliable (20k miles now) and rattle free compared to my e92!

F11 was nice inside, but not outstanding. Audi's continue to be good in this department, but the driving position is crap! My Merc C class interior is a few steps ahead of the E90 imo....

The missus has one of the lease deals on the 10k a year. 10p per mile they're charging over that. We were'nt offered any package to extend it but then we did'nt ask.
