USB to Serial port problems
I've read, I've searched, I've downloaded drivers..
Yet still the Radio Shack USB-serial adapted drops offline while using it with my PROcede. It will stay online for about 60-90 seconds then game over. Any suggestions on where to get one that actually works? Am I doing something wrong and am actually the problem? Sorry if wrong forum. Any help is much appreciated Paul

A good portion of the cables that do that use the cheaper and less reliable Prolific Chipset in the converter which is not as compatible with the newer operating systems. Make sure you get one with an FTDI chipset it is much more reliable and works well with Vista/Windows 7.
