Winton Track Day - July 11th

If you're worried about the on track traffic, or simply the drive, you could do one of the come and try sessions at Sandown.

I haven't driven Winton, depending on scheduling might come up with my brother's MX5- need to get him on the track!

I've never heard of these at Sandown? Do you have a link? How much does it cost? What are the regulations?

Nothing on the Sandown website Scotty, only things I can see is limited car club days

WRX club/SAU does them from time to time

I was going to day trip it, but that does make it a long day.

I'll make sure to bump the thread closer to the day, but still, people should ensure enough time beforehand to make sure their car is ready -- oil and coolant topped up, air in tyres, tune has been logged and known to be safe, etc

We should organize some cheapo motel rooms (too cold for camping or sleeping in car lol)

I don't think I could afford for anything to go wrong without insurance.
