Does anyone know how to mount the failsafe in the ashtray? Is there a DIY for that because I want to put mine there. Ive bee searching but no luck. I just dont know what needs to come apart to get the wires up behind the ashtry.

Just take the trim off and all will become clear.

Thanks for your response. Does all the trim just easily pop off then pop back on? Do I need to remove the entire center console or should I easily be able to install th failsafe in the ashtray after I take the trim off?

Question where did you get your mounting bracket from I love the way it keeps the box nice and snug. Also have you had this kit running yet I have and the pump is surprisingly loud? The performance shop I went to told me it would be ok to have it running as long as I keep the flow on the low setting.(As I am not tuned for it yet, but will be this following monday)

Well , I bought it and its great !! Pump is fasten under the tank and is flush with it.
A level sensor can easily be drilled and fitted to this tank.

Hate yo revive a old thread but need to ask a question. Did you use the headlamp switch for the gauge? If so, where did you tap in at? I was thinking of using the Orange ECU power wire in front for main power to controller but can't figure out how to tap in without hurting wire.

I still haven't gone through with my HFS install but when I was test fitting a few electrical parts it was clear there wasn't a "good" way to tap for it. PITA defined.

I dont remember right now what we did , just that is worked like a charm after I had finished.

I got codes....have all failsafe disabled and getting wastegate valve codes.

I missed one pin one the DME , luckily it was not in use the one I connected to , after fixing that , I had all systems go. I did twist my head a lot before I found the source.

Check all wires , connections , be 100% sure on everyone of those.

As embarrassing as this is I will post what I did lol! When I slid in the connector it went into the wind groove causing the connector not to make contact with DME.
