You will get rub running anything as, or more, aggressive than about ET30 with a 255 or larger (275 fits a 9.5" width tire, while 255 looks anemic). I did the research on this size when I was looking at a new set of rims. I am currently running rears at ET33 with a 255 width, and people that were running ET30 and 255 width were getting rub with a full car. I can only imagine that it would rub with less weight on an ET23.

I am getting no rub at all running 255/35/18 FK452's, that is with a set of ACS Type III wheels and a set of Bridgestone RE040 tyres in the back with the seats down, and the car will never get any more loaded than that.

As I said, AC Schnitzer suggest 19x85" ET33 and 19x9.5" ET21.5 on their E90/91 wheels with a 225/40 and 255/35 tyre fitted, and they have to get everything approved to sell that package in Europe, so thought it would work, just with everyone on here saying otherwise I started to doubt it a bit.
ACS only offer the 8.5" rim on the back for the coupe though, with an ET33 offset, so it shows you just how much more room ther is on the saloon/touring.

This is with the oversized tyres on......

Well, that is good to hear. Are you running with Sport Suspension or stock?

M-Sport suspension, which is bilstein shocks and eibach springs in Europe, the sport suspension is sachs/boge shocks and sachs/boge springs, the sport is 10mm lower than SE and the M-Sport is 15mm lower than SE apparantly, looking at the first coupes that came with sport set up and not m-sport as they do now I would say that it is more than 5mm between them.

Not sure what you get in the States when you choose sport??
No one seems to know what set up it is over there.

Quite a few people run OEM CSL rims on their E90's and no rubbing, that is ET27 on the rear.
Seriously, if I can go over speed bumps with 4 tyres (24lb each), 4 wheels (at 25lb each), my daughter and my dog (38lbs!! ) and me and my wife in the car and there is no rubbing then it isn't going to be a problem.

However, maybe the springs you get as stock are the softer Boge/Sachs springs and this is why you get the rubbing??

Absoloutely, even the OEM CSL rims rub on an E92.
I know spaxdoc has an E90 though, probably best not to dicuss this any further in here.
