**Active Autowerke S1 Short Shifters Now Available | Passion for Precision**
Hi Guys,
Active Autowerke is proud to present our new S1 Short Shifter! Active Autowerke has teamed up with UUC Motorwerks to develop the Active Autowerke S1 Short Shifter Kit for your BMW. When developing this system our main goal was improving upon BMW's shifter assembly to increase the precision and smoothness of the overall operation. The Active Autowerke S1 Short shifter kit creates up to a 30% shorter throw than stock. The kit features a completely self-contained and self-adjusting primary pivot bearing assembly that retains lubrication, keeping out that grit that 'roughens' a shifter feel over time, and positions the shifter assembly perfectly for ideal linkage alignment. The S1 shifter is also built with a new full-length internal vibration absorbing absorbing material that surpasses any OE or aftermarket material for longevity and retention of design specifications. Installation of the unit is a direct replacement of the factory unit and does not require any cutting. The upper section is alloy steel, acoustically isolated from the lower section. For custom-tailored ergonomic, the height adjustable design raises or lowers top section. This allows changes from original height to as much as 3/4" lower. The single piece T-304 stainless steel lever is the strongest shifter available with an integral pivot ball. All shifters in the S1 Series are compatible with Original BMW shift knobs including illuminated knobs. Precise engineering resulted in a less knotchy feel during shifts when compared to the factory system. The Active Autowerke S1 Shifter Kits are also available with our optional weighted Active Autowerke Signature knob. Key Features: * Upper section is allow steel, acoustically isolated from the lower section * Locking Collar for Height Adjustment * Shifter creates up to 30% shorter throw * Ability to raise or lower top section for ergonomic purposes * Single piece T-304 stainless steel lever is the strongest available * Lower pivot bearing setup virtually eliminates friction http://store.activeautowerke.com/sho...-kits-c17.aspx PM for More Information and intro pricing! Sweet! Does it use UUC's DSSR or the factory selector rod? Does retain the stock center position?

$355 isn't too bad for an SSK I suppose.
