Just an update.

Looks like I won't be able to finish the project on time for the local Cinci's show. The wheels are push back this causing the widebody project off schedule. I know there are few members wanting to come down and see the project themself, so I wanted to sincerely apologize for the delay. So next schedule date is DUB show in detroit at the end of March. Hope to see you guys there.

To be honest I was a little an awe of the size of the rotors and calibers. It's definately eye candy and it definately passes the look test. Hopefully, next week I can get them on.
Well, I guess it's no harm since it's almost over what the rest of the project is. So here are the following things that are to be worked on:

1. Wheels. Obviously this is what makes the whole project. The delay has cause the widebody project to halt.

SL-5.

what's different about these wheels are obviously the specs.
20 x 9 and 20 x 12 with 3" lips in front and 6"lips in rear
the tires being used are Toyo t1r.

2. Black suede headliner, this should be completed early next week. This will include all pillars, sun shade and the carpet area behind the rear seats.

3. Front bumper, initially I wanted to change the whole front bumper but due to poor time management, i've decided to keep the hamann front lips. Cause I've changed so many kidney grills over the past few months, I didn't know what to do with the extra grills so came up with a plan to incorporate the slates into the bottom mesh area of the oem bumpers. They will be painted gloss black.

4. Obviously, finish the body paint when the widebody is complete.

5. Removing the sharkfin, refilling in the holes and paint around the area. This is not a big issue since I don't have factory gps, satelite radio and so on.
I believe this will make the car more clean.

6. Remake the whole rear bumper.

7. finish the sound system

the list isnt long but there's a lot of little things incorporate with this.

That's a FAT rear rims / tires combo. Not a big fan of lips but still can't wait to see the rims on your car.

Yah initially wasnt going to go with this combo, but it really intrigued me to see what it would look like. So why not? haha. Will try a BBS combo after this.

I have my eyes on a set of HRE but they don't offer BMW bolt pattern and offsets yet

you getting rid of your car too? damn no one wants to keep longer than one or two years. I was staring at my car all last night and it just seems like this car is meant to have a widebody man. I'm telling you, everyone should just go wide. hahah

Yeah but not everyone sells drug like you man. Barely make enough dough to pay for the car payments, let alone do widebody conversion.

I'm mostly decided on the color combo and options. I just need to get out of the hospital to put down a deposit and test drive the coupe.

Test drive? who does that before buying? It's actually quite funny, I don't know how it is now but when I went and purchased my car there wasn't any car to test drive on. I bought it base on reviews basically. Thank goodness it went well. Hey are you a med-student or resident? so what options did you pick?

I'm a lowly 3rd year med student going on 4th year in 4 months

I test drove every single car I bought / leased in the past. The E92 that I'm ordering will have every option except for Active Cruise Control, color will probably be AW over CR or SB

Are you a resident?

I'm doing in patient Psychiatry right now, so it's more chilled. School's pushing us to take Step 2 in between 3rd and 4th year, so I still need to study my arse off for that

I see, psych is pretty laid back. I'm not a resident, but I do work in a hospital, so i'm pretty acustom to your "kind".
