255/40/17 Square Fitment on LCI?
Title says it all.
Last season summer tires were Bridgestone RE71R 245/40/17 square on Apex ARC-8 9 x 17 ET30. The car's mildly lowered on TCK suspension with -2.6 deg (fr) and -1.8 deg (rear) camber. Will 255/40/17 fit without rubbing? Much thanks.

Bolt them up, see how much room you have?

255 rarely fits on the front; even with a 17" rim it's really chancy.

This is NOT a track car, however, so take that for what it's worth. My E46 was a track car and even with ZSP suspension, it would under-steer at the track, on the street or even in the garage if I looked at it the wrong way...

I looked into this in this thread:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1208029 It didn't touch anything on my et37 8.5" wide wheel, but it was a little tighter than I was comfortable with around the strut. You've got a bit more offset though, it'll probably be okay. |
