Help w/Transmission Wiring in Madison/Milwaukee

My transmission developed the issue where it won't go into sport/manual mode. It's likely due the wiring coming apart. Is there anybody in the Madison or Milwaukee area that could help me get this issue fixed or recommend some place that could do this for me. If I took it to the dealership, would they just want to replace the unit or would they be willing to repair the wiring?
