stock airbox is pretty restrictive. If you're not planning on "tuning" just get a drop-in filter.

I'm getting a flash next week. And would the 2009 air filter fit my 2011 one?

If you're going to get a Flash; DCI all the way. Check with the vendor. If you're car is a N55; I think you're going to have to wait on a new intake. Different piping.

the 2011 N55, doesnt get a DCI and there isnt a Intake/filter available for it yet.. Drop in filter should be avaiable soon i would guess.
A intake/filter is alot harder to create on the N55 than the N54 now since it uses more sensors on the intake piping. |

As I understand, an aftermarket intake for the N55 is not easy to do because it skews the sensor readings. I will probably need a tune for it to work.

I heard AFE just purchased a N55 just to develop products for it. I'm sure you'll be able to find more information from one of their master dealers such as **********s.com soon!

DCI's with proper heatshields and ram air on the other hand is a different story.

If you don't mind the cost and like the Gucci look Carbon Fiber, look and see if Dinan CAI will fit your car. I just had that installed on mine last week, and honestly, no other intake even comes close in performance and looks. And it is a direct replacement of your stock cover, but it has a secondary cold air intake with a shield that goes in your bumper.
