Vince, Correct me if I am wrong.

The install will be very similar to this Dinan setup with a minimal plastic cutout to accommodate the bigger cooler.

Correct. But they are launching the upgrade first.

vince, i've noticed people who went with dinan stage 3 kit, which requires dinan oil cooler, had to replace their fog light due to the large size of the dinan oil cooler core size. With slightly bigger than dinan's OC, did you not have any problem with foglight?

also when do you expect the FMIC project to be completed?

The cars we have tested have not had an issue with the fog light however, we have recently received word that some cars have the fog light that protrudes about 1.5 inches towards the oil cooler. Your car might need to have the fog light changed. I see that the part number:63177158542 sells online for about $87.20. I’m sure you can negotiate a good price to have the fog light and the OC upgrade done at the same time.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We are trying our best to keep this kit as affordable as possible without sacrificing performance.

As for the FMIC, we will begin working on that once we have wrapped up the oil cooler.

The full kit has everything the upgrade kit has plus an oil filter housing and thermostat. You can purchase the oil filter housing and thermostat on your own and probably negotiate a great price. We are estimating about $350-$400 additional to the upgrade kit if we have to send it to you.

It may be wiser for you to be added on this list purchase to kit when it comes out because you will get it for the group buy price and hold on to it. The IC may take some time to develope. I'm sure we can do a group buy with that too and that way you get both parts discounted and you save on the labor as well.

All the pictures are not up yet because we haven’t finalized the louver design. If your interested please send me a PM with you car type and location. Basically, I am gauging interest and making sure that we have enough kits for the launch. I am surprised how many of you are interested and very glad that we did it this way so that we can make sure we accommodate everyone.

Hey Vince,

Is there any photos of the tapped thermostat and the OEM thermostat? If I pay US$80 for the tapped version, I could, in theory, not ask for a refund and keep my OEM one just in case I may need to go back to stock?

Thanks!

The number of kits is not limited, we just want to make sure that we have enough for the first batch. However, the discounted price is for the first batch only.
