I have one and can highly recommend them. I'll be hanging on to mine for another couple of years, I'll have had it 13 years by then!

Strong money, well done. I’ve been saying the N54 E91 market will stay strong, with manuals always commanding more money! Someone’s got a cracking car!

Lovely car that sold before I could even comment GLWTS!

E91s go like hot cakes, curious as to how E92 N54 manuals are selling like at the moment.

I was the lucky person who bought this. Mark was a great person to deal with. Needed an estate for my new puppy that was ULEZ and wasn't as dull as ditch water. Wasn't fussy on manual or auto as I have a 997 GT3, but..glad I did get a manual. So far so good with the car, I am shocked at how light the clutch is and the gear change but then I've been driving 911's for years and there controls are heavier.
What I found whilst searching for these is they are few and fair between. I am happy with the price I paid and do not intend to part with it.
Now I need to start looking at upgrades, 1st is to get CarPlay and am looking at Xtrons. Will start searching the forums and have a read up on what others have down.

Well done Fulla, I think that was a great buy, nice spec and some good mods. My manual E91 335i now has 92k on it and feels better than it did when I bought it 7+ years ago on 44k. I did spend some money on it last year refreshing the Birds suspension and having the turbos rebuilt (also at PMP), but money well spent IMO.

I also have a 997 but mine is a PDK (Turbo S) and I really enjoy the manual in the E91, fast estates with manuals are getting increasingly rare.

I am sure you are not looking to mod at this stage but if/ when you are.....

Suspension - I see yours is running KW suspension, it is worth switching control arms on front and rear for M3 items if the opportunity arises. Mine is running both front and rear and the Birds B3 kit with upgraded arbs, M3 rear bushes etc and with 19” 313s is still really compliant, much more so than my wife’s standard F30 running runflats. M3 strut brace is also a worthwhile mod, especially with stiffer suspension, noticeably reduced the flex on mine (also have pan roof).

Noise - you may well prefer not to do anything if you are looking for a contrast to the GT3 but free flowing down pipes will help release more sound. Mine has AR with sport cats. I have the M Performance exhaust which sounds good, but antisocial on a cold start.

Power - very easy to release more from these. I am still running the piggyback fitted by Birds 10yrs ago (Proceed) with switchable maps but there are much better options out there now.

Tyres - I ran a few set of those Goodyears over 35k miles, fronts lasted 35k (before having a structural failure, still had 2.5mm on them) and rears would last 12-15k. Now have MPS4S fitted and they are a decent step forward, wearing much better on the rear as well 9K on the rears abs they still have over 5mm on them.

Misc - Yours has had the turbos rebuilt which is good as the wastegate rattle is a PITA....new water pump is also good, mine went at 60k and being electric they tend to give no warning and leave you stranded. If you notice wind noise from the sunroof (when shut) replace the rubber seal, cheap and easy and made a big difference on mine.

Enjoy it and if you ever want any advise PM me (I am not on here often)

This is how we should have gotten them vs just getting the N52, granted the US market loves silly SUV's which are just wagons lifted but this could have sold well if the engine was an option. Not like they would have to get another engine to pass emissions. It was already certified.

To the buyer, I hope you enjoy it for many years and the seller, congratulations on the quick sale. What is replacing it?

Great thanks for this info. As a Porsche chap you might know of Centre of Gravity(CofG) near Coventry. I was going to book it in with them to go through the suspension and set the chassis up for the mean streets of West London...which means it needs to be more compliant over the speed bumps we have.
In the past I had an E36 M3 that Birds used to look over so might call them. However I know the which craft Chris at CofG deploys and he transforms your car. The drive he does before and after is something else and he will spend an entire day getting the chassis right. On my 993 C4S this took him 12 hours....they specialise in Porsche and BMW M cars so it would be in safe hands.

Yeah, I know of COG, spoke with Chris a while back and he talked me out of taking my 997 up to him until it needs some suspension work. Mine was modified/ set up by Matt @ Fearnsport on behalf of ES Motor so goes well.

Enjoy the E91
