I believe it is just the tuning. I might be wrong. they are both inline 6 with 3litre engines

They've got a few more differences. Different ECU (MSV80 in the 328 and MSV70 in the 330), plastic valve cover vs magnesium in the 330, slightly different manufacturing process. The 328 has an N52N vs a regular N52. There is a high output version in the X3, X5, and Z4. They have the minor updates of the 328 along with the 3-stage intake manifold and tuning.

Do they even make the 330 anymore? i don't see anymore after 08 and also do you have the stock exhaust and piping?
