Climate control unit trim

I just noticed that the trim around the climate control unit on my lci e90 appears to be flaking? It seems to have a coat of black paint over black plastic and this is starting to flake off. The car is eighteen months old and still in warranty but I dont know if that would be covered.
If not is it possible to
get a replacement trim which surrounds the climate controls?

Im sorry, my sarcasm detector is presently in for service so I dont know if this is a sarcastic post or is degradation of the interior trim a genuine problem?
I wouldnt think it too much to expect the trim not to degrade within 18 months.

A fair bit of my trim (but not the heater panel) is showing signs of this.

Not a sarcastic post my friend... I have many many parts that are painted in that special vinyl paint, peeling, including the steering wheel trim, that is an issue in many many e90 members
