Still for sale after almost a year - UPDATE NOW 18 months+++
When I was looking for a replacement for my 330d that was in an accident on the 27th May last year I came across a Silver 335d that I asked people's opinion about the interior colour (see this thread)
The bloody thing is STILL for sale!! The dealer must be well hacked off. I offered him £17,500 last year - should have taken the money!! But maybe it was a lucky escape if it is that unpopular!! Last edited by Sir_Pigley; 10-08-2012 at 05:09 AM.. |

The interior is a little errrrr individual isn't it?
I looked at an oddball car when I was looking for mine - a show car. 2 years old, but just registered, so full warranty (only a couple of hundred miles on the clock). Strange colour. "String Vest" fabric seats. "Edition" threshold strips. No steering wheel paddles. A good price - I paid about the same for a used car six months later, but it did have more toys and a much better colour. Glad I waited now. Mike |

The snow on the ground in the pics ain't going to help his sale, people will know its been sitting for ages and be wary.
Still seems a bit pricey to me but guess he may take a low offer as seems a nice enough car and I would have thought a 335d E90 should be appealing enough. |

I suppose it might possibly have sold and someone has handed it back, for whatever reason.V5 should show that though.

It's not the best colour but it is a nice car apart from that. It can't be just the colour of the interior stoppping it sell.
After all diddn't someone pay more than twice as much for it in the first place and actually asked for it to be like that? |

At the risk of opening a can of worms. It's not everyone interior colour choice and doesn't have Nav. Still looks a smart car though.

That's an interesting colour of interior. Certainly an 'individual' alright. Has anyone else got that colour?
Not my cuppa although my car has Lemon Dakota Leather but looks cream to me.. |

Lemon dakota leather is the nicest IMO....better than cream because it comes with black carpets....

Knights BMW in Stoke had a 61 plate M3 in that colour when I was there last month. It was certainly eye catching and after looking at for at least 5 minutes, I still didn't know whether I liked it or not!

That garage is 5 mins from my house! I pass it everyday. He has loads of cars but never seems to sell much. Always overpriced. I called him once over a year ago when i was selling my e90. He didnt want to buy as it had no leather, i thought the alacantra was lovely!

He's changed the interior to black, but still has not managed to sell it. So he's been trying to sell it for over 18 months now. You would think he might cotton on that it's priced too high!!!
He can't be making much money if this is representative of his rate of turnover of cars. |
