How are the fitment for the wheels/tires? Are you on stock suspension + alignment? Is there any rubbing? Did you have to roll your fenders?

as you can see in the pics my car is pretty low. I am running KW V1's and no fender rolling whatsoever. The only thing you need is 5 mil spacers for fronts and your golden. The rears do not need anything. I am running stock alignment specs and have no rubbing issues. These wheels look mean on the car

looks like I might be picking up a procharged C6 vette making 600whp. I decided that I will go this route and just add the rear fenders to make it like a z06. It basically has full boltons on a very conservative tune at 7 lbs and also has the z06 breaks. I was very happy with my last procharged vette minus the traction issues but with this one I plan to correct that problem . Im flying to Chicago to look at the car Oct 20 and if it meets my expectations it will be parked in my garage that sunday and the process begins lol....... I was looking at shelby GT500's as well but honestly Im a vette guy.

only thing left is the meth kit and the wheels. The e55 amg is one of my favorite cars too but I am planning on hitting 10s with my next ride and the vette will not break the bank doing so lol.

Please dont get a mustang, i have a friend with a 2011 mustang gt its in the shop more then he is driving it. Plus vette men do think twice about mustangs. Procharged c6 vette are really quick, my best friend's dad has a superchargered Z06 with everything you can do to it, street tune is abit over850rwhp and racing tuning with racing fuel is somewhere in the 1200rwhp range. The 7L engines are such great base to work on. It was all done at Tony's Corvette in fredrick, he is the best with corvettes. I wish you best of luck with the new car, try to stay on the bimmer forums

haha thanks alot bro. I am not getting a mustang no worries lol. Tony's Corvette in Gaithersburg had done all the work on my other 2 C6 vettes that I had. Tony's had procharged my 2008 C6 and it was the first LS3 to be procharged. He will be working on my vette again as soon as I get it and as a matter of fact hes holding a callaway short shifter for me as we speak lol. Good luck with your car to

Same but at the age of 17-18 you really dont have a choice in what you get, my father was adamant for me to get an awd car and an automatic gearbox. I tried to find to find a manual 335xi but they arent around

What has been wrong with his Mustang for it to be in the shop so much? I haven't heard of any reliability issues with them even though they are the 1st model year of the run(which always have bugs to work out).

Is his a c5Z or c6Z? Upgraded internals? What blower and how much boost? Does he run the car at all and, if so, what times at the track?

I'm seriously thinking about getting a new Mustang when the time comes. New cobra is supposed to have a supercharged 5.8L based in the same family as the new 5.0L. It'll no doubt be a beast and put down 600chp stock. Bolt-ons should give it 600+whp easy and put it in the 10's all day long. Swap to a Whipple and up the boost/fueling and it should give you easy 9's and possible 8's depending on the suspension/wheel set-up. I'm speculating that the block will be a sleeved aluminum piece with forged internals too given past engines.

It was first with the gates in the gearbox, then it was battery, then it was the ignition, then it was the clutch, and now some else happened now he is not telling me cause i make fun of car so much. c6 z06 2007 or 2008.... he purchased it brand new, straight from the dealership to tony's corvette and it was their for about 6 to 7 months and after $60k later. Like really light wheels, roll bars, racing seats, straight piped, headers, transmission upgrade, weight saving, slammed to the ground, 355 tires in the rear, like everything is done to it, a huge supercharger not sure the name but i know it was about 10k for just the supercharger it self. Everything was done properly and safely, tony's knows what he is doning. As of i know he has never tracked the car, he is kinda a slow driver lol. He is a big corvette collector, he has his 1978 pace car at tony's corvette for a engine swap and he is giving it to his son for a track car. His son tracks his srt8 jeep with bolts ons runs like low 12's. When jeremy goes he will most prob like the 1978 vette

Shelby GT500 would be the mustang I would get. My buddy who works at Sheehy Ford says the only issues they see with the new 5.0's is the manual gear boxes. The 2011 Shelby already uses a an aluminum 5.4 block thats sleeved to cut weight down unlike the 2007 thru 2010. I will def consider Shelby GT500 but not the regular stang. These cars def make power easily and pretty damn cheap doing so as well. I have priced out parts and with $3000 you can be near 600 whp. If the vette does not work out next week I have a couple Shelby's in mind

That doesn't sound like the car you descried but, as you say, he may have taken it back. Either way, I sincerely hope he built it to drive it...and I mean REALLY drive it..... and not just put it into a collection

bump. I lowered price on rims and tires. Only few hundred miles on setup, no scratches and those Nitto NT05s are sticky. I need them gone so I can use the money for my vette
