AP racing bedding in brakes
Hi,
is this a good way to bed in the brakes on a stock 335i? I know this was discussed way back, but I can't seem to find the thread. Also, is there any point in doing this if the brakes have 25000km on them? Thanks. |

Both the links mention similar stuff to what is mentioned in the AP video...
That still doesn't answer my question if it's a good idea to bed in the stock brakes this way, and if I can bed the brakes in at 25000km. |

Yes, "rebedding" stock brakes is good to do every couple of months. The layer of pad material deposited on the rotors gets worn off from regular driving, and gets redposited when you get them hot again. Also helps to quiet squeaky brakes.
