Found a 2011 328xi. Good deal or not?
Just wanted to know if this is a good deal or not? I found a 2011 328xi with sport pack in manual. Black on black with 19k km. Cean record and the best part it that it has full warranty until dec 2016. Free maintenance until dec 2014 or 80k.
Dealer asking $32.9K + taxes. I'm about to trade-in my 2006 325i for it. |

Actually no. That was the set price. I tried but they wouldn't budge.
I'll go make an offer and if nothing can be done in terms of price, then watch should I ask for? Is it normal that there is not price nego on cpo cars? |

No trade-in.
They only offered $8K for my pre-lci so I'll have to sell it somewhere else. |

How much do you realistically expect to get for your 2006?

Whatever he gets, it should be over 8k...hate when dealerships low ball a trade in and don't budge on the price of a car you are looking for.
There should be some sort of incentive by the dealership to make you feel that you are getting a good deal. I can only see them not budging if its a new car off the production line. With used cars there should always be a push and pull in regards to pricing. If they don't budge at all, start looking elsewhere...they will probably call you back anyway. |

No I wasn't saying it's worth 8K. Was wondering what you thought it was truly worth. If you could knock 2-3K off their asking price, I'd trade it in for 8K and you save on the tax difference.
Looking for a private sale means you'll encounter many tools trying to low ball you. |

It depends on the dealership and how long they've had the car in inventory. I'm in BC and when I bought my CPO 2007 328i two years ago, I got about 10% off the asking price.

Settle with the 2011 328xi with sport with 19k km or go with a 2012 f30 320i with premium, lighting package and only 90km for the same price?
