first oil change questions

Hey guys, BMW recommend first oil change at anything between 20 000km and 24 000km.

1) It's true?
2) It's better if i bring my car in for a first oil change at 3000km?

also, i was told that i'm only allowed to bring my car in for service for only 4 times (for a 48months terms), It's true?

Hi,

1) Yes true, you can bring your car in for service when it reaches 24 000 km or anniversary day. They don't accept without these two conditions except you paid for it.

2) Not necessary at 3000 km but at 5000 is recommended.

how much do they charge for the oil change tho? any ideas?

In NJ anywhere from $90-130. Sometimes they have coupons for like $70 oil changes. I used to get a $20 oil change at Meineke. Lol................... Then I bought a bimmer.

U.S. BMWs come with a Warranty/Maintenance manual which explains all that stuff. Isn't that true for the Great White North as well?
