FS: Professional Head Unit (From Logic 7)
I recently replaced my OEM head unit and figure that I'll never probably bothered with changing it back to stock if I sell the vehicle so thought I would sell this. It's taken out of a 2006 330 xi, with Logic 7 (top hi fi). Any questions please ask. It's in perfect condition. $150 local pickup $165 shipped Last edited by Googlyamnesiac; 08-21-2014 at 02:37 PM.. |

You might want to hold on to this just in case you need to put it back in place of N6 for dealer software update...
Don't know if it has been proven that the dealer can do needed software update or re-install software for any reason without the OEM HU present? I'm holding on to mine just in case, since I figured the OEM HU wouldn't bring much $$ anyway

I guess so, although in all the ownership I've had an e90 I've not needed to go to a dealer for anything. Maybe my luck will run out though... Thanks for the heads up though.

Do you know if it will work with a car that doesn't have Logic 7? My screen is busted so I just need a new stock HU

I'm not certain actually. If you wanted me to ship it after paying, I would gladly refund you if you had any problems (you just pay return shipping). Let me know.
Actually ... you are in Ashburn. I'm up near Rockville. We could give it a try one weekend if you wanted... |

I'm actually in Dallas, TX now (I guess I need to update my profile lol). I am going to do a bit more research and see if it will be compatible.

I have a 07 with a Professional head unit and logic 7. My unit has bad pixels so I'm just looking to replace it. Do you know if it would be a straight swap? Or is some sort of reprogramming, coding needed? Thanks.

I'm not certain really. I know that a non BMW garage (where I bought the vehicle from) replaced the existing stereo with this one because it had dead pixels when I bought the car and I wasn't happy. I sat and waited for them to do the work and replace it with this unit, so I don't think it needed anything BMW specific. (they also weren't the sharpest tools in the box where I bought it from either).
