o2 sensor code help

Hello fellas;

I've recently installed catless downpipes, and since then I always get the code

2C3E:
2C3E Lambda probe in front of catalytic converter 2, control failure or cable transmission failure?

Any idea what's the cause of the error?

I've searched, nothing explained why could be. Can someone please chime in and explain?

Thanks

Seems like the front lambda 2 has issues after the installation of the dps, maybe broken or reverted? I would check that first.

nothing to do with the 02 sensors or you would be getting codes like: p3026 & p0135

Pretty sure is bank 2 (cyl 4-5-6) which should be the driver side dp? Not 100% sure though.

Yes, driver side DP is the one for the cyl 4-5-6.

so its the upper O2 sensor on the downpipe that controls cyl 4 5 6 to be checked

oh my bad, its not the upper sensor, its the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter which is on the down side of the downpipe...

No think is the wideband sensor pre cat/closest to the turbo. The important one.

I had the exact same code reading off my JB4 which caused my car to run lean and the tune would actually turn itself off when I was on it. Had the o2 sensor replaced on bank 4 I believe?? No more CELs and I havn't had a code come up yet, car runs stronger and better now.

See, I am thinking that I have been having this issue as well. I have an after cat code, says its not plugged in or something. I use a DP fix from BMS and it goes away. I remember the car being a lot stronger. I put in the dp fix for my inspection and I have been trying to figure out how vital this code is. Wish I still had the exact code #. I have to detach my dp fix to make it come up again.

I guess if I were going to invest some money in a sound running car, I would want to replace all these sensors? Or should I focus on the fronts? I still haven't got a solid grasp on o2 sensors and their function in relation to AFR.

Update:

Changed both O2 sensors on the DP for cyl 4-5-6, and the error is gone.
