Heated Mirrors
I have recently looked in the handbook for the E90 to see below what temperature the wing mirror heating comes on.It just states at " a certain temperature," but not what it is. On a few recent damp mornings the outside temp was about 5 degrees C but the mirrors were fogged over with condensation. These were not cleared by the heaters I assume because it was not cold enough to activate the heating? My old car (A Ford - sorry!) used to operate the mirror heaters with the rear demist which meant you had better control. The E90 does not! Is there a solution/adjustment to this. Thanks

The black ice warning comes on at 3C (37°F) so that may be the "certain temperature". As for the solution, a microfibre towel may work; it works for me in the shower.
