12.002@119.68 1/4 Mile

Hello all!

I went to Capitol Raceway last night to test my car in the 1/4. I am happy to share these results with you. This is only my second time to the track ever and this was on Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires running 28 PSI. My mods were Cobb E40 Protune by Jake@PTF, VRSF Downpipes, ETS 5 Inch, BMS DCI. This was still running the stock Charge Pipe and DVs which me and Jake believe may have hurt my trap speeds a little, this car has 120 easily in it if you look at the speeds at the 1/8th. At this point, I can say that this is the fastest street car that I've driven minus a few built EVOs and Modded C6 Z06s.

Yeah there is some left in there for ya to get to the 11's. Only 1 question, what is up with the R/T? Did you shut the car off till the light turned green?

I sleep at the light purposely to focus 100% on the launch. Do not worry about R/T's at all unless you are bracket racing or are racing a car next to you that you care about beating.

Better tires w lighter wheels and an aftermarket cp and dv and it should be easy. This may be a Hankook Ventus record lol. For reference; an AWD bentley continental gt went 13.4@109 last night.

Surprised you got anywhere on those Hancraps. Worst tires I ever owned in 10+ years of driving. Nice trap speed!

DV and CP won't do anything unless you currently have a leak.

they are cheap and they are decent in the curves. For straight line though, they dont hook well. DWS is worlds better, and it's an all season. flexy sidewalls are key.

Probably because all the wheel and tire packages include them as the cheapest tire option and they got rave reviews on Civic Si and other FWD cars.

The car and driver tire compare coupled with their price is what made the hankooks popular.

What you talking about dude. Damn good tires for the price. Better than a lot of the overpriced crap out there.
