BSM 335is / TGS Shout out / HPB LED interior

Thanks to TGS for selecting to as the winner of the recent giveaway. Usually never win anything nor do a post like this so why not to to do a shout out and post about my car.

First thing to note is that I had a simple led kit on the car before but this kit has a much nicer and brighter light to it. This kit is much better than y previous set that replaced just the main bulbs (i.e dome, vanity, foot well). It was also much brighter than I anticipated but its very nice none the less.

The car is current FBO and also my daily driver since 28k miles and current at 68k miles. The car has been pretty reliable with the only thing I personally replaced under factory warranty was the driver cup holder which was broken on accident. Recently had a weird issue where my LTFT1 would peg at +20% however it may have been due to a faulty downpipe. Took it apart and went to dealer for CPO warranty and they replaced the oil pan gasket after taking every mod off then putting it back on... Have a lot more planned for the car after I get something else as a daily driver. ( Suggest something to me, Ive been looking at a BRZ, WRX, GTI )

Was planning to do meth injection on it once i got another daily however MHD Flex Fuel should be enough. Though the extra cooling aspect seems to be pretty nice and I may just do it for that and for a why not factor.

2013 BSM 335is DCT

How careful do you have to be driving around with that front lip? I'm about to order one for my LCI M-sport?

I wouldn't say you have to be that careful. As long as you have a good memory of the road, parking lots, avoid dips and bumps. You should be good, you'd have to worry more about other drivers than the your lip imo.

Edit:
I do scrape everywhere...

Car looks great!

Did you have to shave down the rear hub to fit the 10mm spacers? (since the hub is 12mm)

Sorry, why would you have to shave the hub? The spacer goes in between the hub and wheel, effectively increasing the offset of the wheel.

That's what you'd think but the lip of the hubcentric spacer sits on the hub, and the hub is 12mm long, if the spacer is only 10mm there will be a small 2mm gap, you may not notice but your wheels will be wobbling when driving. I had 10mm in the rear (There are some that are made for our cars and work)

If you look on any site where you order spacers, under 10mm it says *custom fitment*, I beleive it says on the BMS site and H&R too.

I had 10mm on the rear of my e92 with my M359s, everything felt fine in the car but one day my friend driving behind me said my rear wheels were shaking

I see what you mean now, you're talking about the hub-centric lip. I have Mach-schnell spacers which incorporates the hub-centric lip into the design so there are no issues. Well should be no issues....

Sorry I did a bad job at explaining it, if you google bmw 10mm spacer rear for e92 you will see a bunch of threads, even 1 series have the same issue

Didnt really see any issue googling it other than the hubcentric ring issue. I never had a wobble with the spacers on either.

Looks good! Do you plan on paint matching the amber reflector? I think it's an eye sore.

Personally, i don't think it looks that bad. However I have a new bumper in the living room right now that i'm waiting to clear bra and might just do the the amber reflector delete.
