NSW BMW Club Day @ Silverwater Park

I'm not a member but thought I'd head down tomorrow morning and have a look. Should be some good BMs to look at

Looks like a great excuse for a drive down Victoria Road on Sunday.

In my... B... M...W...

I must say that my E90 (and the excellent E46 with dead 5AT before that) are the best driving cars I've had... not the most reliable I must say, but certainly the best to drive.

NSW BMW Car club day photos

Was a good day, a really nice collection of club cars. Really liked the new m-performance kit on a white 320d F series from Vic that was there with 20" OEM black rims which looked the biz. The Benson & Hedges Car is an ex-Tony Longhurst touring car which revs to 12000 rpm and they said it goes harder than an n52 M3 race car, no doubt is lighter as well. Looked well used as well! The M4 had what looked like gigantic carbon rotors with huge 6 piston OEM brakes. Those new 4pot on the F series looked like babies along side. Can't see how that new carbon strut brace on the m4 can do that much.

Thanks for sharing your pics, it looks like a great day for it!

What do you think of the austin yellow? Personally im not much of a fan (I've only seen it on E46 M3's) and I've noticed E46 M3's in this colour generally have lower resales...

Re the new strut brace, apparentley it weighs 1.5kg and utilises an adhesive process to mount it and is much stiffer then an aluminium bar. Surely those M division engineers know what they're doing now (bmw are arguably the world leaders in CFRP innovations) shame on you!

Yeah, the austin yellow is quite striking but I agree I've always thought it was an odd colour. It looked well speced though with just about everything... not your standard M4.

I don't think they are, they look more like the QLD premium plates:

QLD have cool plates and styles, and much more reasonable fees.
