I checked my RTTI this morning and it appears to be working. See the pictures below which in fact show TI (not TI+) in the display but still displaying traffic messages and the RTTI icons on the map display!

No more issues with my car now!

Got the new update today...... works great!!!!!! Traffic and VC working fine!!!!! New IDRIVE is SOOOOOOO MUCH FASTER!!!!!!! Love the POI search, also noticed that my DVD drive isn't constantly reading anymore and being super loud... also bluetooth connects much easier and sounds much clearer....... Another great feature is now the navigation lady's voice doesn't totally cut out the radio.. the radio just becomes a little more quiet in the background as she talks which is a great feature!!! I'll be sure to post some more things once I find them!!!

Good to hear but I need to make one correction: the satnav never cut out the radio. This is all dependent on how you set each volume level. My car goes back for its weekly program update tomorrow.

To 335I, what version were you on before?

same here, i have a may 2006 e90 without traffic, anyone know if updates will add rtti to my radio????

I'm not sure... my car was a September production and was never updated until yesterday I think it was a pretty old version though

I have a Dec 2006 prod 335i Coupe. I have no idea what version i have. how can i check? my RRTI shows TI+ but can not get it to auto-re-route.

should i go for the update? what should i tell service to get them to do it?

What screen is that with all the arrows? I can't seem to find that. It will tell me about traffic jams but I don't know where to go to see those arrows.

I'll have to play with the volume levels more. I thought mine always cut out the radio (and still does, with 25.02.00). Maybe I have the nav voice too high and the radio too low? Or vice versa? In any case, I'll play with the settings.

One thing I noticed with v25 is that the VR responses and nav voice now are just on the left side speakers. Maybe just left front, it's hard to tell, but I think the whole left side. With my old version (v21), the voice sounded like it came from all speakers.

My M5 always muted the whole sound system; at one point, they installed a software upgrade, and it made the audio lower for instructions, but never quite killed it.

On my E92, I *think* it's dependent on the sound source. (This is based on vague recollection.) I think that what happens is that when my iPod is playing, the audio is completely muted. On satellite radio, I think it's just reduced volume. (I really don't use the other audio sources too much any more, so I'm not so sure.)

Does this match anybody else's experience?

I havent used nav while using all audio sources. On my e92 while using my iPod the audio source used to cut out completely (pre v25 progman). When updated to 25.00.04 the iPod audio reduced volume when nav audio kicks in.

how often does bmw roll out with a program. i know from 24 to 25 was fast because there were some errors, but how about pre 24 verions? how long did it take to go from 23 to 24, 22 to 23, etc?

Just got my car back from the dealer after routine maintance-Service light was on- synth oil service, micro filter, and replacement of steering column ( though it needed steering fluid- had a squeak) dealer replaced column and sqeak resolved. the software was updated to V25- due to loss of arrow for nav (intermittan problem), the new software is much quicker, no longer has lawyer statement on start up , and VR works without any problems. The bluetooth function is improved and the CD player seems to work quieter. The maps are brighter and easier to read, and the silver color looks great on the screen. Great service at this dealer.
Got a quote to replace the windshield ( stone damage on I-95- Large crack) which occurred due to resurfacing and stone on the highway - price seems high at $ 974 dollars anyone else have windshield replaced and how much did it cost
