tire pressure monitor

about a couple days ago, my tire pressure monitor icon keeps showing up on my dash board on my 323i e90, I can't get it to go away. as I go threw the menu on the dash I can see the reset button but it won't reset!

any help is appreciated.

Well first thing you should do is check to see if any of your tires are low in air pressure or if infact you have a flat.
If all is good.... go through the menu while the car is on and go to the tire icon
once there press and hold until you see a little box with a check mark in there and that should reset it .
THis is also useful if you put no runflats during the winter and want to get that icon off you dash during the winter
that should work!

Once you see the reset word pop up...you need to push the button in (bc stalk) and hold it till a clock symbol shows up. Let go and the system will reset. Sometimes it won't remove the error right away, but after driving 50 ft or so it should disappear.

make sure when you reset it, you saw a check mark. you would have achieved this by hitting the button a second time and holding it untill the check mark shows up.

The PSI should be on the side of the passenger door when you open it.

It won't go away by filling the air pressure. It has to be reset once all tires are at the same pressure.

I am surprised the reset didn't work, what color is the icon? It may indicate a malfunction with the air pressure indicator.
