Trim Wrapped...and it's NOT Carbon Fiber
After physically sorting through about 5-6 different samples of carbon fiber wraps, decided to go with something different.
BEFORE AFTER What is it? 3m Scotchprint 1080 Gloss Anthracite Where I bought it? Metro-restyling's ebay store How much did you use? I bought two rolls of 60x12 How much did you pay? In total I believe it was a tad under $45 shipped Was it easy? Well it definitely takes some time getting used to and even then it's tough to get it 100%, but I'm happy with the way it came out. This was my first time wrapping, however I do a lot of DIY stuff with the car. I personally like it much better than the wood, way sportier. Pictures don't quite show how much metallic flake the vinyl has. It really sparkles in the sunlight. It even looks space gray in same angles. Last edited by Game; 09-27-2012 at 09:04 PM.. |

Nice work!
I've been wondering what would be a good alternative to wood with saddle interior. I like! |

Thanks guys! Wondered that myself. I went through every sample 3m has to offer and thought it'd look great and have some contrast. |

My favorite part of this whole thread (other than the sick job + saddle interior) is how the OP CLEARLY indicated everything in the original post. This format should be required for all posts of people's work.
Sick combo!

do you think the Gloss Anthracite would look good where the seats are light gray
I currently have the aluminum trim and wanted to replace it as its scratched |

Love the sig pic btw. Thanks. I think it would. If you were happy with the aluminum you'll likely be happy with the gloss anthracite. I would however order a sample though, you can get them for $4-6 on numerous sites like metrorestyling.com. |

Very nicely done! Looks like it would take a lot of time...it actually looks a lot my aluminum sport trim which my car came with. I think it definitely gives a sportier feel to the interior.
