How To Find ECU Type For COBB?

Bought a COBB yesterday and I was wondering how do I find out which ECU I have so I can find the appropriate maps?

You plug the Cobb into your car and it will tell you under one of the menus (forget which one).

Thanks buddy.... sorry for the stupid question I have never done this before and I just don't want to screw up the ECU or something and load a wrong map and have my car not work.

In the video step #6 is 'Power Cycle the car and the AP Install Process is Complete'...... does that just mean I press the start once without my foot on the clutch and then once again right after with my foot on the clutch to turn the car on?

Thanks for the help.

get in the car and without pressing the clutch press the on/start button twice. you should get the mpg (or whatever you display personally) on the dash. then plug in the AP. It'll tell you which ecu version you have. then download the appropriate apps from the ap software on your pc and load it onto the ap. then plug the ap back into your obd II port and press install. 15 min later you'll be tuned.
