Item Interest
These are all-season tires only, with LESS THAN 600 mi. on them. Took delivery of my car on 11/8/10 and installed winter tires/wheels on 11/27/10.

The tires were taken off the original wheels and replaced with non-RFT's today.

However, it was discovered that one of the tires has a nail in it. I don't know how long that tire had been driven with the nail, but I do know that the TPM sensor did not go off during those few weeks.

Since there's a bit of controversy about whether the tire should be plugged, I'll give it away with the other 3 tires. Am asking $450 for all 4 tires (Tire Rack price is $197 per tire).

I live in the Mid-Hudson Valley, NY and would prefer local pickup.

Thanks,
Jeff

I'd be glad to part with 2 tires if I didn't have that damn nail, but selling 1 good tire and 1 with a nail will be hard.

From what I've read, most people have had no problem plugging a RFT from the inside of the tire (my nail is in the tread). Also, since my TPM sensor light never activated, I'm sure I've not run that tire "flat." The sidewalls are in excellent shape. But still, it will be hard to sell 1 good and 1 nailed tire.

Considering that I have such low mileage on the tires and the fair likely hood that the 4th tire can be fixed, I think that $450 is a fair price. All 4 would go for $788 from TireRack.

Let me know what you want to do. BTW, I live in Poughkeepsie.
